Help for Chamber Members with Business Re-openings

Chamber staff attended a webinar Tuesday morning hosted by Visit NC Farms and led by Research Analyst Marlise Taylor. Two free resources were mentioned to help business owners anticipate and understand travel trends for the southern region; and to help implement and communicate safety protocols to staff and patrons. More on those resources and the webinar can be found here.

Visiting the Chamber?

We're asking that Chamber members who would like to meet with Sherry or Ronda to please call 828-837-2242 or email to schedule an appointment. Visitors are welcome, but we are limiting two visitors at a time and we're requiring all who enter to wear a mask and sanitize their hands when entering the building.

The Kindness of Strangers

Sherry relates that a woman from Atlanta called to office last week explaining that she was going to be visiting the area and wanted to know if the Chamber could use some masks. Keeping her word, this representative from the Atlanta Sewing Guild of Georgia dropped of dozens of beautifully sewn masks, which Tyler Anderson host of WKRK Live modeled during the interview.

PPE and other resources for helping businesses keep their staff and patrons safe can be purchased at Industrial Opportunities Inc., as well as Coosa Creek Marketing.

See you next week!
