Glo Train 5K
Formerly known as Kickin' Asphalt
Join us as The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce kicks off the first annual GLO TRAIN 5K run.
Formerly known as the Kickin’ Asphalt Race, we plan on riding the exponential success we have had for 7 years running (all puns intended).
The Course
Our Race is a 5K/10K USATF Sanctioned Event that will start at the Murphy Health and Fitness Center and will go through downtown ending back at the Center.
The Participants
Hopefully you will be among the runners! This race will have a mixture of locals and out-of town runners so come out and support your community and meet some new people.
Racers will receive a GLO Train shirt and a swag bag containing items from some of our members on the day of the race and refreshments and other goodies will also be available. We will have hydration stations and port-a-johns along the route and the Murphy Health and Fitness Center will graciously provide post-race shower facilities.
This race is an excellent opportunity to come out and support your community as well as set a personal goal for yourself.
