Shelley Eyerly of Coosa Creek Marketing and Scrubs expressed in a FB video post last week how eager she was to get back in touch with customers and friends in the community. With 600 views, it’s clear the community has missed seeing her too.
Like most businesses trying to adapt life in the midst of Covid-19, Coosa Creek sought creative ways to stay open, stay engaged and show support in the community. The opportunity to make “we’re in this together” more than a catch-phrase came when the company decided to start making masks to address the shortage of protective gear people were encouraged to wear when in public.

Coosa Creek started as a clothing manufacturing company. When NAFTA-era changes disrupted the manufacturing landscape in the US, CC rebranded themselves as a “full service apparel decorator, promotional products distributor, and marketing idea house” and brought operations back to the US.
In the real spirit of social media marketing, Coosa Creek has posted videos not only about their operations, but have offered marketing advice in a 4-part video series to help other businesses in the trenches find ways to stay connected with their customers.
