Folk School Concerts
Folk School Concerts are open to the public. They are scheduled for most (but not all) Friday evenings at 7:30. The public is welcome to enjoy a public display of Folk School student crafts from 6:40-7:00 p.m. in the Keith House Community Room, where the concerts are held. Free Admission.

Murphy Mornings

Empty Bowls
First, select a handcrafted bowl from a collection donated by area potters. Next, fill your bowl with a hearty meal of soup, salad, bread and dessert. 17th Annual Christian Harmony Shape-Note Singing
10:30 am- 3:00 pm. Pot luck "Dinner On the Grounds" 12:30 pm. Admission to the singing is free. Location: Music Studio, Davidson Hall. Originally published in 1866, William Walker's Christian Harmony is the oldest seven shape collection to have remained in contiuous use, primarily in Western NC and North GA.
