Andrews Art Museum

Bi-monthly Saturday Night Dances
Bi-monthly Saturday night dances at the John C. Campbell Folk School, 8-11 pm. Contra and square dances for adults, children, beginners, singles, and couples, with live music and callers from near and far. Visit the John C. Fireside Friday
Second Friday of every month, featuring local writers, poets, and musicians. 5-7 pm. at Curiosity Shop Bookstore.


Folk School Concerts
Folk School Concerts are open to the public. They are scheduled for most (but not all) Friday evenings at 7:30 pm. The public is welcome to enjoy a public display of Folk School student crafts from 6:40-7:00 pm in the Keith House Community Room, where the concerts are held. Free Admission.


Heritage Partners
The Hertiage Partners will meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at City Hall /Murphy Electric Power Board conference room, 4.00 p.m. (July and August meetings at the Old L&N Depot). Visit www.heritagepartners.org for more information.


Murphy Mornings
Open Saturdays from 10 am- 2pm, April-October in the pocketparks on the corners of Peachtree and Tennessee streets, downtown Murphy, featuring Cedar Valley Farmer's Market; quilters and crafters welcome. For more information call Jeremiah Smith at 828-361-7505.


Murphy Public Library

Music in the Shoppes of Murphy

Business Expo/Job Fair
Three counties will come together for a major business expo/job fair beginning at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event will showcase area businesses and provide job seekers an opportunity to apply for employment. 10th Annual Heritage Walk & Festival
Enjoy a step back in time with this celebration of Cherokee County. Enjoy all-day historic walking tours and a heritage festival celebrating area artists, crafters, growers, food, live stage entertainment, and more. "Two Hours from Anywhere"
For the 20th consecutive year, Murphy Medical Center will bring our community together in support of better health. This year's 5k run, 2-mile heart walk, and kids' fun run will benefit the fight against breast cancer by helping Murphy Medical Center purchase Digital Mammography Imaging Equipment. The Murphy Hometown Christmas Celebration
