The John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown is one mile away and offers wonderful mountain music, dancing, crafts classes and a craft shop. Sign up for craft classes at the school (www.folkschool.org) and walk, bike or drive one short mile from Brendle Branch Cabins.
There are only two cabins on 40 heavily wooded acres, so each cabin is separate from the other providing solitude and privacy. Each has its own private drive. Guests marvel at how quite it is. Each cabin is fully equipped. All you need to bring are food and clothes.
Crooked Tree Cabin is large and spacious with a loft, cathedral ceiling and so many windows that the woods are always in view. It has a winter view of the mountains.
White Pine Cabin has white pine tongue and groove walls, two bedrooms, and a great deck that juts out into the treetops. Both have full bathrooms and kitchens and outdoor fire circles.
The cabins are within two hours of Atlanta, Asheville and Chattanooga. There is a public golf course 3 miles away. The Ocoee (whitewater) River in Ducktown, TN is just 30 minutes away and the Nantahala (whitewater) River is just a one-hour drive from our cabins.
